Center threaded bottom brackets have a solid alloy center sleeve that threads into the cups, providing a stiffer platform for the bearings.
Due to the smaller diameter of BB86/92 frames, Ridea Gecko Grip technology cannot be implemented for larger diameter crankset spindles. RS B86 30 cups are made of bearing grade steel and are designed to fit 29 or 30 mm spindles for BB86/92 frames.
